A Planner CONVENTION!?!??!

A PLANNER CONVENTION?!
Planner Con 2017” – Have you heard about it?

WHAT?!!!? A convention for people who love and use paper planners?! Are you kidding me?! Do you just almost jump up and down full of JOY (um, YES, we did!) ?! WHAT A GREAT REASON FOR A ROAD TRIP! Can you imagine…all of our favorite vendors in booths with their latest and greatest goods and wares…aisles and aisles of different planners to see, touch and – well – to see ! Classes and speakers on organizational skills, practices, new ideas… Sharing ideas with hundreds…possibly thousands… of other paper planner lovers!!! Breakout sessions for people by the planners they use... Breakout sessions for different types of users: business professionals, household managers, artists/bloggers/novelists, students/teachers, Moms, Dads, Direct Sales representatives, MEN (wouldn't it be fabulous for all the men in the planner community to converge and share their perspectives?!)

It is all so very preliminary at this point! But I wanted to just give a shout out to let you guys know that this is in the works! Ideally, in 2016, we will see regional conventions happen with a national convention in 2017!! Isn’t it exciting?!? We will keep you posted as we have updates. Whether or not you live in Texas, please consider adding yourself to our two Facebook Groups... They are:

Planning Pixies:  Erin Condren Awesomeness!

and Planning Pixies: Texas!

The convention isn’t tied to any brand of planner (though we ALL know our favorite is Erin Condren!)!! It is for the paper planner community as a whole! How exciting!

What are some thoughts / ideas you have and might like to see at a Planner Convention? We’d love to hear your ideas and thoughts. Share them on our Facebook group pages list above! If you haven't already asked to join both groups, please do! We want to include all of you on our awesome journey!

And...coming up...we're going to be sharing how our ECLP's made our move so wonderfully organized and smooth. We'll share some organizational tips and ideas. We have several new blog posts coming soon.

AND... AND... we will be having another give-away within the the month of July!

We thank you for reading, thank you for following our groups and thank you for your comments!

Erin Condren: The Three E's: Extras, Essentials & Etsy Shops

Erin Condren, The Three E's:
Extras, Essentials & Etsy Shops

With the Erin Condren 2016 Life Planner Launch underway (just as of yesterday - click HERE to register with them and get a $10 coupon to use on your order!), we have gotten a lot of great questions, from new users as well as regulars, as to what are the must-have extras, what are really the essentials and do we recommend any Etsy shops... So here is our feedback (purely our opinions from our experiences). Hope it's useful in your journey to incorporate all the JOY and organizational bliss into your Erin Condren Life Planners!

Extras:  These are items on Erin Condren's site that we feel are must-haves!

1. Erin Condren Coil Clips:  Package of 12 for $7.00 . THAT is a good deal! They are great quality, and while yes, you can make them yourself, we haven't made any or found any homemade ones that are as good a quality as hers. They are worth the investment!

2. Erin Condren Personalized Notebook:  Yes...this is a pricey item, we think (and, depending on how much you add to it, it can become increasingly costly). HOWEVER, there is nothing we use more than our EC Life Planners besides our Personalized Notebooks! A personalized notebook starts at $35 and is the size of the ECLP (7x9). For $5.00 more, you can get it in the Teacher Planner size (8.5x11). You can add on things like a calendar, dividers... That adds to the price. However, watch Erin's videos - do your research... This may be the ultimate add-on for you! Make it as simple or as deluxe as you want. These personalized notebooks are great for archiving your memories, your studies, your work notes... Something like, "A Day In the Life", a personal journal, a travel diary... the uses are ENDLESS here...but the space isn't...Really use it for something special since it's not anywhere near as inexpensive as a case of spiral notebooks (which we use, too, for all kinds of random things). We use our Personalized Notebooks as journals, for dream, gratitude, prayer lists and really - so much more! I think 3 of these a year is an average for us (buying 3 of these throughout the year).

3.  Erin Condren Photo Stickers:  30 Stickers with ANYONE's happy face you choose for $5.00! Sure, you can make this at home, but think of all the formatting... Sure, once you get your template laid out, it's fine...but it's the getting there - getting it perfect part, that makes purchasing these from Erin Condren SO VERY worth it!! Put these on your list to order about 3 or 4 times a year so you can update pictures! Their template is easy to use, and it's so awesome to have stickers ready to go for someone's birthday, a date night, a kiddo's special day, special holidays like Mother's Day, etc.! They are awesome and very worth the investment when you take into consideration how much time the set up on your end will take to do it yourself!

4.  Erin Condren Compliment Cards:  Now...these aren't necessarily a planner EXTRA, but more a LIFE extra! You get 10 Compliment Cards for $5.00. And to just have them on hand where, when you feel so inclined, you can share one...awesome...the world needs more joy, and this an easy, random (and unexpected) way to share it! Sure - you can make your own, have a thousand printed... So there are options here...but these are must-haves in our stationary collection, and Erin Condren's are our favorites!

Essentials:  These are items that you find outside Erin Condren's
site to spruce up / decorate / further organize your Life Planners:

1. Stickers:  Stickers are a great way to plan and organize things within your Life Planner as you put it to use. They are always great, too, to add motivational quotes, fun stuff... Decorative design or utilitarian functionality, stickers are an incredibly versatile tool! You can find great stickers everywhere, literally! Just make a list of things that you might want to be represented by a sticker in your planner, keep a running list and be on the lookout .  The Dollar Tree, Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Etsy shops are all fabulous locations for finding functional stickers to further personalize your planner (even Wal-Mart, Target, TJ Maxx, etc). Use your imagination, look at what others use and develop your own list. For example... There are a lot of Etsy shops that sell stickers to mark laundry days. They're adorable, and a common item in a lot of planner layouts we see (and we have several washing machine stickers from Etsy shops). But, for us, we have found some darling Sticko brand stickers - silly socks stickers - and that's what we're currently using to represent laundry days in our planners. Take a look at this layout below. Sock = Laundry day! Michael's and Hobby Lobby both have a good collection of Sticko brand stickers, and they often run them 50% or 40% off, so wait for those sales! Also, the little bumble bee/ladybug/dragon fly stickers indicate when I work at each of my jobs. Those are from a collection of stickers I found at Michael's (go the packs for 50% 0ff - just don't buy stickers at full price...ever...lol...they WILL GO ON SALE!) They may not mean anything to anyone else, but that's how I use them in my planner. They could indicate different classes if you're a student, different children if you're a mom or dad planning your kids' activities. Different committees if you're a volunteer... Anything... Just use your imagination and create what works for you!

2. Washi Tape:  Washi tape is a paper tape that allows you to re-position it if need be. I am the worst at getting my washi to lay out straight the first go-round, lol, so that's a great feature of washi tape. There are ALL kinds of washi tapes out there. Dollar Tree is a fabulous resource. Michael's has a great selection, but they're on the pricey end, we think. Hobby Lobby  and Jo Ann both have a limited selection (though Jo Ann on line has a great selection). Etsy shops sell washi, Office Depot/Office Max sells washi tape... It's everywhere... Even Amazon offers some great options. In the photo above, notice the washi that covers the morning/day/night sections. That really narrow washi came from Amazon. It was a 10-pack of different colors for about $3.95 (ships from overseas, so it takes a little while to get here, but it's worth the wait). The gingham washi and the pasley washi across the bottom row came from Dollar Tree. The hot pink glitter washi up the left is from Michael's.

3.  Pens & Pencils:  Everyone has pens they LOVE to use for writing. Regina prefers a pencil, in fact, when writing lists. Have a good selection of the types of pens/pencils you like to use. Be careful with Sharpies. They'll bleed through (even the extra fine points) if you write directly on the pages. However, using them to write on washi tape is perfect- no issues. We really like the Papermate Flairs and Pilot G2's. We also use Papermate Inkjoys, LePen's and so many others. Colored pencils are a great thing to have on hand, too, and you can find perfectly fine, inexpensive ones at Big Lots, Wal-Mart, etc.  Shop for your pens and pencils, too, because they will always be on sale somewhere!

Etsy Shops:  These are the Etsy shops that we LOVE!
***Please note that there are HUNDREDS, maybe even thousands, that cater to Erin Condren products, so these are just our faves! We're not promoting them or being compensated in any way...we are just sharing our preferences. So give yourself several hours to research all the Etsy shops out there that might suit your needs! ***

1. OneOrangeSnowflake:  OneOrangeSnowflake was the first shop we purchased planner stickers from when we began this journey. The quality is outstanding, the prices are GOOD and the functionality of her stickers is perfect for a lot of our needs. We LOVE the checklists and the "plan" stickers. There are SO MANY we love, but this is a great shop for fun, functional planner stickers!

2.  LillieHenry:  LillieHenry's stickers are adorable and functional, but they are really pricey, we think. That doesn't stop us from ordering from her shop. It just really limits what we'll order. Her stickers are good quality and fun! If they weren't so pricey, we would certainly incorporate more into our planners. But we love what we use, and we use them regularly!

3.  PinkGlitteredCoffee:  PinkGlitteredCoffee has great prices and fun, functional stickers that we love. Her shop isn't as big as the previous two, but her assortment is fun and varied and accommodates a lot of different activities!

4.  TheSassyPlanner:  TheSassyPlanner came to us after a search for a particular sticker that another Etsy store offers but is always out of (similar stickers, as they're all custom made). We found many wonderful treasures here and reasonable prices!

As we mentioned, these are just our favorites! We have friends who run Etsy shops, and, to be fair, we haven't mentioned them here. Always take time to look for what you want, and you will find it in an Etsy shop!

This is a long post, but we hope you've found some helpful information here. Your comments are always welcome! Follow us on Facebook in the group, Planning Pixies: Erin Condren Awesomeness! We love our Erin Condren Life Planners, and hope you will, too!

Happy Planning!

Tomorrow is the Day! Watch Erin Condren's Video On The Life Planner & Fun New Accessories!

Erin Condren's Video on The 2015-2016 Life Planners!
Watch this video, readers!!!

It's a great video full of all the information you need! I am really wondering (hoping, I think), that the Rose Gold may have an option for the color gateway, but I'm thinking not... I am a little sad that some of the flourish (like the date and day at the top) are not as pretty in the standard (or vertical layout) this year.

Either way, I am MOST excited that the coil is bigger!! That is a GREAT thing for those of us who use our coil clips to snap in memorabilia (like pictures, etc.), for anyone who adds extra snap-in folders or dashborads, etc. The video is just a great resource! Go sign up now so that your $10.00 is ready for your purchase - SIGN UP HERE!

I'll have more info to share later, but I wanted to be sure you all got the news that Erin's video is out there!

Remember - sign up and register your email address now by following this LINK for a $10 off coupon!!!

Erin Condren 2016 Life Planner Update!

Pre-Order Sale Date is June 9th, 2015!
(REMINDER : GIVE AWAY for 3 LUCKY WINNERS - READ FOR MORE INFO)

The pre-order date is June 9th! Do you have it marked in your planners?! Have you seen the updates revealed so far?! Register with your email address here:  REGISTER MY EMAIL ADDRESS WITH ERINCONDREN.COM and get your $10 OFF code to have ready when you place your order...AND...so that you can stay on top of all the exciting news coming from EC!!!

It is time to start thinking ahead through summer, into a new school year, the holidays, the new year... oh goodness! So soon! Start thinking (I know many of you already have those wheels turning) about what Erin Condren products will work best for you the rest of this year and into next year. Notebooks are a great tool in addition to the EC Life Planners.

SO exciting to have the option to personalize your Morning/Day/Night sections as they are BLANK! I am really excited about this for work! If we keep our meal planning / household chores, etc, in a horizontal ECLP, the vertical ECLP will be a great business only tool for both of us! It will really allow for that separation and the format lends itself, at least for us, to just this function! Super excited!

The new HORIZONTAL Layout..!! For those of you who like your planners laid out horizontally, here you go... I think this layout could be best used (for us, anyway) to manage all of the household day-to-day:  meal planning, exercise, bills to pay, house cleaning (zone cleaning), etc.

And, the Teacher Planners, teachers or not, are AWESOME tools that you can make work for you and your family in so many different ways!! I have so many different ideas still floating around in my head for the Teacher Planner (adapting it to our needs).

We anticipate purchasing the following:
*2 of the new 2015-2016 EC Life Planners - 1 Horizontal / 1 Vertical (we may end up ordering only 3 - and making the household one for meal planning, bill-pays, etc., a shared one that stays at home)
*2 Notebooks each (one for gratitude / prayer requests / reflection / writings / journaling ... and the other for meeting notes, work related or volunteer related
*1 Teacher Planner each - still working out specifics of what will go into each of these, but they will be put to very good use as the list is already long (we'll share more at a later date)

Exciting things coming from Erin Condren with the drop of the 2016 ECLP!  Keep reading to find out more, and register your email address HERE to get $10.00 off your order!

For any of you newbies who haven't yet purchased a first ECLP, the "Best Is Yet To Come 2015 ECLP" is on sale again, 50% off at $25.00... If you register your email through this link, HERE, you get an additional $10 off... So you can get an ECLP (just the remaining months of 2015) for only $15!!!! That's amazing and so worth going for it!

Remember to comment on our 5/27/15 blog post on the Facebook page, Planning Pixies: Erin Condren Awesomeness! for your chance to win one of 3 AWESOME GIVE-AWAYS!!! Tell us where you are with your goals/plans/dreams as we near the 1/2 way mark for 2015!

Washi Storage Solutions!

Washi Tape Storage:
You Never Know How Much Washi You Have Until You Try to Organize It...

Oh, all you Erin Condren Life Planner Fans, how do YOU store your washi tape? Do you have a drawer, a storage bin, a box, a bag... Or do you have formal storage? We'd love to see your pics! We had washi, washi, everywhere... We made some DIY storage out of cardboard boxes. We made one using an ECLP box, too! And then...Michael's had their big sale... So we did our bargain shopping... and VOILA...
Only, wait...ummm... we really have a LOT of washi tape!  And we literally ran out of room with 18 storage units that hold, on average, 10 rolls each)! Regina was putting a few of the glitter washi rolls on the 18th unit when I snapped this pic, so it's missing one... It isn't something you keep count of...it's just something you collect for a spread/project. And it multiplies...lol!

We still have at least 150+ rolls of washi that could go on these lovely storage units. IF they go on sale 60% again, we may invest... Otherwise, we're using what we have (as you can kind of see - one of our DIY cardboard boxes turned washi storage)!  All our glitter washi (solid color glitter) - about 50+ rolls - is in an ECLP box! Handy way to recycle a good quality box. Just added a little silver and red duct/washi tape to fit the color scheme of our little craft corner. :)

How do YOU store your washi? Let us see!

Happy Planning!

New ECLPs on the Horizon! What Changes Are You Hoping to See?

New ECLPs on the Horizon!

What Changes Are You Hoping to See?

Oh, the anticipation is starting to build as Erin Condren is planning the release of the new Life Planners!  What changes are YOU hoping to see?! We have so many ideas of things we'd love to see!

**Share your thoughts on changes / additions you'd like to see in the comments, and we'll add a blog post with all of your feedback!! One idea sparks another... Creativity as well as organizational planning ideas are great gifts to share and receive! We love the community of ECLP fans as it's just a big organizational, inspirational, creative community of neat people! :)

We are really hoping Erin Condren's team releases a Life Planner the size of the Teacher Planner. We'd like to see about 20-30 pages of note paper between each month, more add-ins and the ability to coordinate / customize the 5 rows down! In our ideal ECLP, Teacher Planner sized, instead of the 7 subject columns across the top, the days of the week take over (starting with Monday just like the ECLP),  Down the left side where the 5 rows are currently the 5-weekdays (for school), we would like to see categories that can be personalized such as :

Home         Morning          Home          Kids            Mom              Budget & Bills
Work          Day                 Work           Work           Dad               Appointments
Meals        Night               Kids            Home          Kiddo 1          Work
Chores      To-Do's           Meals          Wellness      Kiddo 2         Home
Fitness      Meals              Chores        Gratitude   Gratitude      Social

...and obviously there are a million different options you might have in mind that could be personalized. We have a couple of ECLP/ECTP friends who have taken their Teacher Planners and repurposed them into Direct Sales Planners. They're awesome!

Another extra bonus would be getting to select the motivational quote pages - what they say and where they fall within your planner...

We could ramble on, but alas, we must not! Share your ideas, your creative input! Who knows...maybe Erin Condren herself will see your ideas and put them into action! And maybe we'll all inspire something in each other that we put into action... Remember...one spark at a time!

Being Happy Is A CHOICE!

Being Happy Is A CHOICE!

A happy and blessed Easter and / or Passover to all those reading! Hope good, quality time has been spent with family and friends.

Where, oh where, have we been, you're wondering?!  We have been busy WORKING LOTS of HOURS!  We are so blessed to have our jobs and love every minute of the time we put in at each of our jobs! Work has definitely kept us so busy - much busier than usual! Amy worked 140 hours the past two weeks alone!. Regina traveled out of town for her first work-related business trip last week! Needless to say, the craziness in our work schedules has definitely helped define how we spend our free time together. So please forgive our lack of activity here on our Planning Pixies: Erin Condren Awesomeness Blog!

We're getting work life balanced out with all these hours and should get back to regular posts soon!

As a back in the saddle kind of post, we'd like to share a general idea with you. You don't have to agree with us. But we would ask you to contemplate the idea. That idea...:

Happiness is a CHOICE!
You CHOOSE to be happy:

Circumstances and situations will always change.. One of the things we can keep constant is our choice to choose to be happy! That doesn't mean things are picture perfect. It doesn't mean you have everything you want or even need,  Not in the least. It simply means you have a choice...

You can choose to be happy, or you can choose not to be.

One of the many things that brings us great happiness is the time we spend together jazzing up our Erin Condren Life Planners ! We take time, once a week, to plan out our week. Even with our crazy schedules lately, we've made that a priority between us because it brings us so much happiness (not to mention the obvious need for scheduling / planning to keep everything in order). We have some really big, happy goals ahead of us, and, in order to realize those goals, we must keep ourselves on schedule! So needless to say, scheduling / planning each week is critical for us.

We'll go ahead and wrap up  this post. There really isn't much to it other than the idea that choosing to be happy is a choice. We hope you choose to be happy!

Happy Planning!
Amy & Regina :)

Making Time to Plan!

Making Time To Plan!

How often to you forego your planning time? For us, it is a rarity!  When we decided to go back to paper planners, we went all in! We invested in the Erin Condren Life Planner because we found it the most functional for our needs. We decided, also, to use our planners as memory books / scrapbooks / journals, so decorating/  jazzing up our layouts is a dedicated effort to use our tools to accomplish our goals - however big, however small. We typically take time at least once a week to plan and decorate, (really more with adjustments and updates).

This is the first week we've had a really big blip in our scheduled planning time. We were out of town for several days co-hosting a party and celebrating a family landmark.  It was well worth the time away! There was a LOT of planning that went into the event (as with any project), and a beautiful family memory was made!

The Happy Couple celebrating 60 YEARS of marriage!!! Awesomesauce!

Now it's time to get back to everyday life! So our week is already underway, and we feel like something is missing...oh, right... our planners...our plans for the week... Tuesday evening is solely dedicated to our layouts for the week - and just maybe the following week!!! It will feel so good to get back on track! We also have Happy Mail to get out (some of it is a little late, some will go out on time and some will be an unexpected surprise to some special people)...

Tuesday work days are always particularly busy (more so for me than Regina)! It will be something to look forward to after a long day at work - that creative outlet we seem to enjoy... And just getting down on paper all that we need to accomplish gives us that visual that works so well for us!

So who else is behind on updating their planners? Who hasn't even started?  Who has hit a creative road block or just can't move forward?  Talk to us, to each other! We can all be motivators, encourage one another to share ideas and help you get back on track with your planners or even to get started!!!

Look for pictures tomorrow night!! And thank you for following our blog and posting on our FB page!  We are growing so quickly, it's exciting!!

Happy Planning!

Erin Condren Life Planners: Our First Spreads

Erin Condren Life Planners:  Our First Spreads

Planning your first spread in your Erin Condren Life Planner can be overwhelming! We wanted to share our first weeks with you since we're fairly new to this fabulously fanatical, fun & frilly, frenzied planner hobby!

Regina and I have a lot of the same tastes, like a lot of the same things...AND we equally have as many different likes / tastes. Also, as with everyone, we have different approaches / methodologies to functional practices - work processes, creative activities, house cleaning and cooking. When it comes to creative outlets, Regina, generally speaking, gets an idea and runs with it while I have to have a whole big picture vision of the end result before I even put something down on paper. We can be equally as simple as we can be complex, so that's always a toss up.

***For those of you who haven't signed up at the Erin Condren site yet, please see note at the end of this post!***

Always remember that your planner is YOUR planner. ITs sole function is to do whatever you need it to do:  help you keep track of activities, help keep you on budget, on schedule, on task, help you stay on your health routine, help you keep record of gratitude and memories, help keep your creativity flowing, help keep your mind active...and so on and so on and so on... (remember those commercials, lol?!)! YOUR planner can do one or ALL of those things. It's up to you!

We definitely recommend planning time in your schedule to "plan"... Whether you take 10 minutes every day, 30 minutes twice a week, an hour once a week  - doesn't matter...make it work for you. But if you're going to invest in the product, if you're going to invest in the supplies to "dress it"...USE IT! It's really easy to make those purchases... It takes follow through to DO IT!

So we here and now challenge each one of you...

YOU INVEST IN IT, YOU BUY IT, YOU USE IT!!!

Now for the trip down memory lane...our first spreads! We were in the midst of final Christmas planning, so it was fast & furious for us. We opted against ordering the "remaining months of the current year" in our planners as we figured they wouldn't arrive in time for us to put them into use. Ahhhh, but they did! LOL! So we only had half of Christmas week in our ECLPs.

Amy's first spread:  As mentioned, we were in the throes of Christmas activities, so Amy really tried to transition our functioning "to-do" list into her new planner. She used a sheet from our personalized note pad to function as the early part of Christmas week. It's got glitz and glam, to-do's, washi tape and stickers!

Regina took a simpler approach and just decided to start her spread where the planner started, Christmas Day! She went with a little washi, a few stickers and a few notes (since Amy had most of our notes in her spread that week).

As you can see...two totally different approaches, perfectly functional for each of us. These pics were taken when we finished decorating them. Since then, we checked off completed action items, updated activities (for example, we didn't go to the grocery store that weekend - too pooped out from the Christmas rush)!  But you get the idea... YOU decide how functional, how much, how detailed, how minimal ...rambling, yes... bottom line...

MAKE IT WORK FOR YOU!

The Wacky, Wonderful, Wholly Guacamole World of WASHI!

The Wacky, Wonderful, Wholly Guacamole World of WASHI!

How many of you really KNOW what washi tape is...? Rather, how many of you HAD NO CLUE what the term meant, how to spell it, let alone what to do with it, before you became obsessed with everything Erin Condren / organizer / scrapbook supplies?!

To be honest, washi was a new term to us as we started delving into the world of the Erin Condren Life Planners (and we're scrapbookers, crafters and stampers from way back who had taken a hiatus for several years). Like many of you, we quickly became OBSESSED wild women wanting washi tape...seeking it out at every possible location...scouring etsy stores, amazon shops, all the group posts, the craft / hobby stores, dollar stores...looking exclusively for uniquely designed washi tape!

It is certainly a staple in our planning supply stash, an ever-growing stash, at that. Washi tape must have reproductive beams of some sort that send out signals which control our wallets and pull us in by some wild magnetic strength to stores and sites....to buy - buy - buy!!! LOL! Of course, no such myth exists, but it IS an easily addictive impulse purchase... SO BE PREPARED!

Our best lesson learned:  one role of Washi tape goes a LONG way!

So some helpful advice...
*PLAN:  Go out on that shopping spree with a plan! Do your research online, browse the pics on the group pages and find things you like, styles / patterns / colors...
*THINK before you load up that cart...Try to get a vision of how the things you've added to your cart
will work together in your planner to make it as functional and fun as you need it to be!
*SET A BUDGET: Set a budget for yourself for that first time washi purchase... You may want to include room in the budget for stickers, pens, adhesive paper (i.e., Hobby Lobby has a fun new product), etc. ...
*DON'T SETTLE:. If you don't find what you're looking for, keep looking! You have to really envision that washi tape in your planner in some design - or you envision sharing it with a Planner Buddy or in a RAK... If it doesn't fit into those two categories (use yourself, share with friends), then put it down and step away. It's tempting to just buy it, but if you really don't have a clear plan for it, put it down and step away from the washi!

There are so many cute designs out there for washi tape! We WISH they were all in one place...but they're not. SO be open and really shop around for what you want. Etsy shops for planner supplies draw us when we're shopping for functional stickers that we use for everyday tasks/chores, etc. But  washi shopping on etsy isn't something we enjoy to be honest. It's being in that creative mode, maybe, instead of the utilitarian mode... The wacky, wonderful, wholly guacamole world of washi DOES exist! It can easily become a black hole. When you learn how far one roll truly goes, you'll quickly find that, eh, maybe buying the samples that Etsy vendors and user groups sell. Or exchanging with your Planner Buddies once you know each other's tastes can be a good resource to help you keep your actual ROLL collection count down. We currently have about 200 rolls of washi tape that we've collected since...December... Granted...MOST ALL of them were on MAJOR sale (see our previous post below to help you find those bargains!)

Bargain Shopping Tips & Pointers for Planner / Scrapbook Supplies!

To wrap up this rambling post, purchasing supplies before your planner arrives is a smart idea if you have a general sense of how you'd like to decorate your months / weeks.  Or if you KNOW you like a certain color scheme and want to stick with it, or if you have a seasonal theme planned, okay... Those are valid reasons to start purchasing supplies for your planner before it's even arrived.  We can't honestly tell you to  start small because we purchased all the items above before our planners even arrived...We'd love to hear and see pics from your first planner supply shopping spree!  Remember...

*Plan ahead, *think through the items in your cart, *stay within your budget & *don't settle!

Add us to your circles and let's stay in touch! After all, the biggest part of this Erin Condren Life Planner community is the UNITY!

Happy Planning,
Amy & Regina :)
